During our HRIS Integrations Webinar, we will discuss how Integrations work in Pento and how to make the best of your HRIS syncs. This article will summarise the information presented in the session and include helpful links to relevant articles from our Help Centre.
Settings
Your settings play a major role in ensuring Pento remains synced with your HRIS system. You can also choose to exclude certain employees from syncing, and some systems can enable you to send additional payslips to your portal (not applicable for CharlieHR).
Mapping fields
The mapping fields will determine what information Pento gets from your HRIS. The fields on the left represent Pento, whilst the fields on the right represent the fields on your HRIS. You can map any field from HRIS to Pento, including custom fields. Once mapped, the data will sync from your HRIS to Pento.
You can select Do not map for the fields you do not wish to sync from your HRIS. This should also be used if any of the fields present on Pento are not available in your HRIS. Additionally, multi-list fields cannot be mapped and won't be available for selection, as each field in Pento only stores one value.
Activity tab
The Activity tab is an excellent way to stay on top of any changes your team makes to employee profiles.
Sync logs
The sync logs are designed to help you understand issues with HRIS integrations. It gives you visibility of what was and was not changed during the syncs over the last 30 days. If an employee or their information is not syncing as you would expect from your HRIS, then the sync logs can help diagnose why.
