FAQs
Why aren’t my payments reconciling?
If you use UK Payroll to make payments to employees and/or HMRC, the payments are pushed to Xero when the payroll has been Submitted. Once the payments reach Xero, they should already be reconciled.
Note: Only payments made from your UK Payroll account are pushed to Xero. Payments made into your UK Payroll account aren’t pushed to Xero.
Any payments with errors won’t be reconciled in Xero. Check the Payments page in UK Payroll to see payment statuses.
Additionally, UK Payroll doesn’t reconcile any manually created payments. These will need to be reconciled manually in Xero.
Why can’t I see the reconcile button in Xero?
Check your user permissions in Xero.
