You will need to confirm your payroll with a verification code to ensure net payments to staff and your HMRC bill go out automatically.
Confirming a payroll
- When you are ready to confirm the payroll, select Review in the payroll draft
- You can then select Confirm Payroll
- You will then need to select Send Verification code – this will trigger the verification code to be sent to the mobile number you added at Authentication set-up
Note – If you are yet to set up authentication, you will see the below screen. You will need to select Authentication – Go to account settings and follow the steps there.
Please note – You will need to use the country code for the mobile number you wish to use. E.g. +44
Once you have set up the Authentication, you can re-do steps 1-4. You will then see the screen below, where you can add the 6 digit code and confirm the payroll.
Frequently Asked Questions
What if I change my phone number?
Once you have changed your phone number in Pento, it will not automatically change the phone number for authentication. You will need to contact support who will be able to assist.
