There are a number of reasons you may not want an employee to be paid automatically on payday, we have a few examples below.
- The employee does not have UK bank details.
- The employee received a net advance.
- The employee has left your business, and received the payment prior to payday.
To ensure an employee isn't paid, you will need to update the Employee's bank details to the following:
- Sort Code: 11-11-11
- Account Number: 12345678
This will ensure the gross payments & PAYE liabilities are reported to HMRC, however, a net Payment Request will not be created for the employee on payday.
