Learn which documents to request from your previous provider to help you switch to Pento.
Your old payroll provider might have a variety of reports you can access in order to gather the necessary information to set up your Pento account. Here are some of the most common ones:
FPS - Full Payment Summary
This is the file that is sent to HMRC every payday. Here you will find the majority of the information you need including:
- Employee details (name, address, date of birth, National Insurance number)
- Tax codes
- Year to date figures (taxes and earnings, National Insurance figures, deductions)
- Student loan plans
P11 Report
Deductions sheet for PAYE and NIC with a breakdown per employee.
- Employee name and ID
- Tax codes
- Year to date figures (taxes and earnings, National Insurance figures, deductions)
Employee Payslips
Some of the information you need can be found on a payslip, however, this may not be an accurate representation of all deductions.
PAPDIS File - Payroll and Pension Data Interface Standard
This is the file where you will find Pension data for your employees. This includes:
- Pension dates
- Enrolment status
- Contribution rates
