The password for P60s is the last 4 characters of an Employee's NI number (including the letter in upper case).
E.g. A National Insurance number of AB123456B would mean a password of 456B.
If an Employee does not have a National Insurance number in Pento at the time their payslip is generated, when payroll is paid, their password will be their DOB in the following format: DDMMYY
Please note – The change to DOB format is not backwards compatible. For any P60s generated before Friday 27th May 2022, if the employee did not have a National Insurance number in Pento and had to use their DOB to open the P60, the DOB format for that P60 will remain to be DDMMYY
